What is Google fellowship?

A new and exciting opportunity is emerging for aspiring AI professionals around the world. Google has launched the Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship 2025, a fully funded, 4-month program created to support and develop the next wave of AI innovators.

This fellowship is open to applicants globally, reflecting Google’s dedication to building a more inclusive and diverse AI community. But beyond being just another program, it provides hands-on experience that equips participants with the tools, mentorship, and network crucial for real-world success.

ELIGIBILITY:

If you’re thinking about applying, you’ll need to be at least 18 and have a real connection to one of our Google Data Center communities in the United States, Finland, or the United Kingdom. This means either living there or making a genuine difference in that area.

Applicants should be building ventures that are either refining their solution or working toward product-market fit. A track record of meaningful impact and Strong ties to the local community are key. Whether nonprofit or for-profit, the organization must have a viable business model and be actively delivering value to its users or beneficiaries.

Participation in the full 16-week fellowship is required. This includes a virtual intensive from September 1–12 and recurring online workshops held every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning September 15.
