How to Participate in the MKBHD Scientific Blind Smartphone Camera Test
Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or simply love capturing stunning photos, everyone can contribute to this exciting event. Here’s how you can participate:

- Click on the “Vote” button.
- Choose your preferred category: Standard, Low-Light, or Portrait mode.
- Hit the “Start” button.
- Time to cast your votes!
- On desktop: Use your left and right arrow keys to select your favorite photo.
- On mobile: Simply double-tap the image you prefer.
- Vote until you reach the desired level of confidence:
- Stop at the first marker in the progress bar for a quick vote.
- Complete the entire progress bar for a more precise vote.
- Click “Submit.”
- See the results!
- You’ll see the top 3 ranked photos in gold, silver, and bronze.
- The actual phone models remain hidden, represented by letters.
- See the detailed statistics of your votes but without the phone names.
- MKBHD will reveal the winning phones soon after the results are compiled.
- Share your results:
- Click the “Share Winners” button to copy text to your clipboard.
- Share the text with your friends and let them know your picks.
- Not satisfied with your choices?
- Click the “Keep Voting” button to return to the voting process.

By participating in this blind test, you’ll be contributing to a collaborative analysis of user-preferred cameras. As you engage in the ELO-style voting system, your consistent choices will not only shape your own personalized results but also refine the overall rankings.
